We will welcome you between 18.20 and we’ll start the Yoga and Candlelit 🕯️Sound bath at 19.00.
The sound bath begins with each person seated in a comfortable position. A brief guided breathing, followed by a few gentle moments to heighten your sensory awareness. I will use some South African essential oils during the session.
A crystal singing bowl sound bath is a deeply relaxing experience where you simply lie down, get comfortable, and let the soothing sounds of crystal bowls wash over you. These bowls are made from quartz crystal and produce calming, gentle tones that help quiet the mind and relax the body.
You're invited to lie down and get comfortable, using items like pillows, and blankets.
I gradually introduce sound into the space🎵. While I use various instruments, the main ones are the crystal singing bowls.
You can encounter a range of experiences, including profound relaxation, a heightened sense of peace, an uplift in mood, improved clarity of thought, physical and emotional release, a deeper self-connection, or simply enjoy the sensations.
Taste and Enjoy! 🍃🫖
After the sound bath, Thirza from Krullen & Kruiden will prepare a soothing kruidentisane (herbal tea) for everyone. You’ll get to create your own blend intuitively, guided by Thirza, who will offer a short explanation about the herbs and their benefits.
It’s the perfect moment to unwind and enjoy the calming flavours and gentle health benefits of this carefully crafted experience.
Get Quiet, Art creative, Connect
After the sound bath, we’ll move to the other part of Maaskant Park🪴. With your tea, find a peaceful spot in the garden park to sit and enjoy some quiet, meditative time with the group. It’s a beautiful way to ground yourself after the session.
We encourage you to connect with the park and its plants in your own way. Whether you’d like to draw some of the plants or flowers you see, use the provided pencil and paper, or bring your own art supplies, the choice is yours. If you prefer to sit in stillness, feel free to journal or simply enjoy the calm. I’ll also have a card deck available for anyone who wants to pull a card for the evening.
After the quiet time, it's also a lovely opportunity to connect with others, whether you’re having a friendly chat, making new connections, or spending time with the person you came with. We’ll let the second part of the evening flow gently, allowing space for conversation and connection in a relaxed, peaceful atmosphere.
We are looking forward to a beautiful evening!

A crystal bowl sound bath is a deeply relaxing experience where the soothing tones of quartz crystal singing bowls are played to create calming vibrations. These sounds help quiet the mind, relax the body, and support emotional and energetic balance. Participants usually lie down, close their eyes, and simply receive the sound as it washes over them.

I cannot stress this enough, rather bring to much than too little.
It's important to be warm and comfortable, so please dress in layers and bring whatever you need to stay cozy. You’ll be lying on a concrete floor during the sound bath, so bring a thicker yoga mat, or, for example, a sleeping bag for extra comfort. I highly recommend wearing socks, bringing a warm blanket to cover yourself, and a pillow to support your head. An eye mask is optional but can help you relax even more.
For the second part of the evening, feel free to bring anything you enjoy using creatively, like a journal or sketchbook.

We’ll all be crossing our fingers for beautiful spring weather, but if it rains, we’ll ask everyone to bring a flexible and positive spirit. In the case of bad weather, we’ll move the sound bath to a covered section and find a creative way to still enjoy the evening together. It might not be the plan we hoped for, but it will still be special.
"A little rain never hurt anyone. It just makes the flowers bloom and the spirit grow." 🌸
